How the hunt actually works.
- What is a sighting?
- A real report from a real hunter who saw something on a shelf. It’s evidence something was there recently — not a guarantee it still is. Always check how long ago it was reported.
- What does Hunt Signal mean?
- A single number built from how recent, how frequent, how spread-out, and how confirmed the sightings are for that item. Higher means stronger, fresher evidence — not a promise of inventory. When there isn’t enough evidence yet, it shows UNKNOWN instead of guessing.
- Why does something say "reported" instead of "in stock"?
- Because that’s the honest claim: a hunter reported it, at that store, at that time. Wishunter never states inventory it can’t actually see.
- How do I report something I found?
- Sign in, then use Report — what you found, where, and what happened. Takes under a minute, and it’s live on Radar right away for the next hunter.
- Why do I need to sign in to report or track a hunt?
- So reports can be attributed and moderated — an anonymous report is much easier to fake, and trust is the whole product. Browsing Hunt, Radar, and Collections never requires an account.
- What's the difference between My Hunts and a wishlist?
- My Hunts tracks what you're actively hunting right now — active, watching, found, completed — not just things you saved once and forgot.
Still stuck? Head to Radar and see what's actually being hunted right now.
